He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Elbert and Betty Wells Franklin; and his wife Linda Kay Rice Franklin. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Franklin (Arlene) of Alexander and Jason Franklin (Hannah) of Alexander; his siblings, Gail Morrow, Gary and Thomas Franklin; and his grandchildren, Harper Franklin and Cassidy Emery.
