We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2020, at the age of 82, Shirley Sluder Franklin (Alexander, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sluder and Lou Bailey Sluder; her husband Jake Franklin; and her children, Glenda Jean Franklin Cole and Ronnie Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Amos of Weaverville and Randy Franklin of Alexander; and her sister Virginia Rogers of Alexander. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
