She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harris and Colleen Harris. She is survived by: her husband Alexander Stronach Badger, Jr.; her children, Rebecca Badger O'Neill (Brian) of Raleigh, Alexander Stronach Badger III (Caitlin) of New Bern and Charles Howard Badger of New Bern; her brother Willliam Harris, Jr. of Chicago; her nieces and nephews, Barrett and Austin; her grandchildren, Ava, Lily O'Neill of Raleigh, Anders and Audrey Badger of New Bern; and her pets, Mocha and Scallywag.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Colonial Capital Humane Society, New Bern, NC.
