He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Louise Fox Hefner and Ruel Levon Hefner; and his grandson Tyler Chwast. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Harrington Hefner; his daughters, Sommer Mcdill (John), Heidi (David), Collins and Tabatha Hefner (Andy); his grandchildren, Daisy Chwast, Leanna, Chesney, Luke Collins and CJ Mcdill; his mother-in-law Lula Bell Harrington; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Harrington and Patti Barr (Terry); his nieces and nephews, Joshua Harrington (Christy), Ashley Harrington, Jason Barr (Heather), Emily Atwood (Chris), Jamie Deal (Mike) and Joy Morrison (Nathan); and his aunt Doris Bowman. He is also survived by his three daughters and grandchildren.
