Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Oletta Brown Sluder of Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 94, on October 14, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulus Brown and Blanche White Brown; her son Dale; her siblings, Junie Gibson, Jewel Debruhl, Virginia Parham and Stella Sluder; and her husband Embler Sluder.
She is survived by: her brother Irland Brown of Hendersonville; her daughter Elaine Ross (Bill) of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Laura Garrett (Michael) of Bahama and Charles Ross (Sarah) of Hillsborough; her great grandchildren, Gracie, Maggie, Ella, Kinsey and Miller; and her cousins, Becky, Kathey Ponder and Oletta.
Mask and social distancing will be required in the church.
