He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Coker and Alberta Shoemaker Coker; his brother Bill Coker; and his daughter Alberta Coker Deckard. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Goodwin Coker; his children, Mary Banks (Doug), Beverly Fort (Tom), Gwen Coker Green, Tommy Coker (Carol) and Louis "Buster" Coker, Jr. (Angie) of Alexander; and his brother John Coker of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
