It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Jane Laws of Alexander, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Floyd Frye and Vada Y. Watts Frye; her husband Mosie Laws; her daughter Barbara Laws; and her siblings, Donald Frye, Jesse Arnold Frye, Floyd Frye, Kletus Warren and Deloros Craig.

She is survived by: her sons, Allen Laws and Aellan Laws (AJ); and her great grandchild Olivia Bridges. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
