He is survived by: his mother Margie Arrington Lytle of Swannanoa; his children, Patricia Compton (Michael) of Alexander, David Arrington of Gray Court and Don Arrington, Jr. of Gray Court; his brother Johnny Arrington (Sabrina Thomas) of Swannanoa; and his grandchildren, Karolina of Alexander, Ryan Arrington of Alexander, Wyatt Compton of Alexander, Alyssa Arrington of Spartanburg, Kaylee of Fountian Inn and Joshua Arrington of Fountian Inn.
