He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Chandler and Nellie Buchanan Chandler; and his siblings, Deborah Hensley and Kenny Fred Chandler. He is survived by: his significant other Donna Honeycutt; his children, Michelle Honeycutt, Robert Honeycutt (Amanda) and Fred Lee Chandler; and his siblings, Wanda Slater and David Chandler. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service (7626 NC-213, Mars Hill, NC 28754).
