He was predeceased by: his parents, Bacchus Ammons and Georgia Lee Soesbee Ammons; his children, Leashell Weido and Michael Ammons; his siblings, Geneva Boone, Marjorie Sprinkle, Jim, Harold, Willard and Luther Ammons; and his grandson Anthony Ammons.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Reavis (Mark), Greg Ammons (Amy) and Keith Ammons; his grandchildren, Corey Edmonds, Stephanie Ray, Heather Whitson, Chad Williams and Kaitlyn Ammons; and his great grandchildren, Nadia Edmonds, Travis and Olivia Whitson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
