She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martin and Josephine Elam Lefler; and her siblings, Evelyn L. Morrison, Charles and Fletcher Lefler.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Matlock; her niece Patricia "Patty" Thomas of Mechanicsville, VA; her great-nephew Chris Dunnavant (Diana); and also Clara Ruth of Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be given in memory of Billie Matlock to the Hiddenite United Methodist Church @ 145 Hiddenite Church Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
