It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Shook Worley of Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Freeman Clemmons and Ed Clemmons; her brother Edward Ronald Clemmons; her former husband Gordon Ray Shook; her cousin Frances Hall; and also, Finley and Della Kate Shook.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Worley; her children, Traci Stewart (John) and Scott Shook (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Katie Green (Jake), Andrew Stewart (Haley), Matthew and Madi Shook.
Even as the ravages of Alzheimer's began to take a toll on her mind and her body, her spirit and soul continued to worship her Lord as she sang the gospel hymns that she cherished so much.
