She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Smith and Margorie Jones Smith; and her sister Martha Smith Hensley. She is survived by: her husband Lane Ramsey; her sons, Chris Ramsey (Dawn) and Allen Ramsey (Susan); her siblings, Deanna Penix (Marshall) and Lawrence Smith (Betty); her grandchildren, Hannah and Eli; and her pet Rowdy.
