He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richard and Lily Robeson Green; and his siblings, Linton Green, Gregg Green, Alda Huntley and Gail Green.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bridges Green; his children, Glenn Richard Green (Janet), Christy Green Bryant (Steve), Monica Green Plemmons (Travis) and Dorothy Green Williams (Scott); his grandchildren, Bryson Plemmons, Ayden Plemmons, Sarah Sawyer (Brandon), Hannah Cantrell (Mitchell), Jeremy Williams and Ashley McMahon (Nick); his great grandchildren, Ava, Audrey Sawyer, Lauren and Lydia Cantrell; and his sisters, Virginia Wilson and Mae Elliott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
