We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024, at the age of 93, Alva Lunsford of Alexander, North Carolina, born in Madison, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Shelton Lunsford; his great grandchild Hatti; and his siblings, Joy Davis, Imogene Sharpe, Hugh and Rex.
He is survived by: his parents, Bass Lunsford and Kitty Payne Lunsford; his niece Linda Merrill (Ray); his son James Lunsford (Debi); his siblings, Alma Buckner and Dedrick Lunsford (Peggy); his grandchildren, Jason Merrill (Sarah), Jared Merrill (Jill), James Lunsford (Marissa) and Alicia Greenwood (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Ian, Lucy, Ava, Wilder and Brees.
