She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Carr Barnett; her son Charles Russell Barnett; and her grandson Samuel Barnett. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Brown, Joseph Barnett (Joyce) and JoAnn Reaves; and her grandchildren, Dale Barnett, Lynetta Young, Eric Barnett, Neal Barnett, Cory Barnett, Melissa Wiggins, Kristie Smith, Melinda Jeanine Gladson, Jennifer Dickinson, Shannon Brown Lee, Andy Keith Barnett, Paul Barnett, Joy Barnett Pate, David Barnett, Ronald Stroud, Jr., Rebecca Jo Harper and Angela Dawn Pate. She is also survived by 57 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
