With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Ruth Thomas of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mac Watson Thomas and Virginia McLaurin Thomas. She is survived by: her sister Maxine Barnes (Bobby) of New London, NC; her nephews, Kenny Barnes of Davidson, NC and Robby Barnes (Taylor) of Landis, NC; her great-niece Emma Barnes of Landis, NC; and her aunt Faye Treadaway of Morven, NC..
