She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Lomax and Fannie Kimrey Lomax; her husband Hugh Swaringen; and her siblings, Grady, Maude Efird, Cora Mae Chance, Pauline Dayvault, Macie, Hearn, C. A. Lomax, Jr. and Willie Lomax.
She is survived by: her nephew Wayne Chance (Vivian); and her nieces, Kay Gaddy, Gail Snuggs, Judy Furr (John), Joyce DeBerry and Porsha Smith (Nathan).
