It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurman Howell of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Clarence Howell and Cora Ingold Howell; and his siblings, Earnest Howell, J. P. Howell, Cliff Howell, Ray Howell, Grady Howell, Victoria Hinson and Jennette Harward.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith Howell of Albemarle; his son Thurman Chad Howell (Vivienne Gebrael) of Charlotte; and his sister Margie Forrest.
