With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thelma Coley of Albemarle, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thelma Coley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thaddeaus Howard and Dora Huneycutt Smith; her husband Dexter Dulin Coley; her sister Marie Smith; and her grandson Kyle Kepley.
She is survived by: her children, Nelson Coley and Darlene Kepley (Jeff) of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Jennifer Deese (Jeff), Michelle Cratty (Shane), Brandon Coley, Tiffany Coley, Cody Coley, Emily Dorsett (Jerry), Jacob Coley and Kris Kepley (Liz); her great grandchildren, Daniel (Kalyn), Katelyn (Anthony), Karson, Dawson, Lindi, Grace Anne, Brooklyn, Cashman, Savannah and Dulin; and her great great grandchildren, Georgia and Dex. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great aunt, and spouses.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (32283 Bethlehem Church Rd, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
