She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Lee Turner and Mary Lucas Turner; her husband Willard Robert Odom; and her daughter Sheila Odom Smith. She is survived by: her son-in-law Jeff Smith (Brinn) of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Brian Smith (Jessica) of Albemarle, Benjamin Smith (Brooks) of Owensboro, KY, Elizabeth Adkisson (Patrick) of Matthews, NC and Katie Furr (Justin) of Albemarle; her stepgrandchildren, Lee Timberlake (Michele) of Albemarle and Bill Timberlake of Albemarle; and her great grandchildren, Emmett Smith, Wyatt Smith, Caroline Smith, Henry Smith, Harrison Smith, Ava Adkisson, Eli Furr, Landon Furr, Talen Hinesley and Tendel Timberlake.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (2225 E Main St, Albemarle, NC 28001-8182).
