She was predeceased by: her father Theodore Jackson Morton; her husband William Kenneth Talbert; and her brothers, Lewis Morton, Clyde Morton and Frank Morton.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Dale Talbert of Winnabow, NC, Dianne Miller (Max) of Concord, NC, Kim Talbert-Kirk (Richard) of Gastonia, NC and Amy Faulkner of Albemarle, NC; and her grandchildren, Tera, Ethan, Thomas, Kevin, Ryan, Timothy, Travis, Erin, Tabatha, Hope, Mahalah and Jarod. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
