It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Biles of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Lee and Foey Curlee Mitchell; her husband Melvin Eugene Biles; and her siblings, Helen Crayton and Bud Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sons, Melvin Junior Biles (Sylvia), William Eugene Biles (Donna) and Eric Todd Biles (Frankie); and her sister Sudie Curlee. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
