She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Terry and Maggie Terry. She is survived by: her husband Tom Hawks; her sister Sandra Queen; and her nieces and nephews, Angela Esposito, Cindy Morris, Bonnie Terry, Eric Queen and Andrew Queen.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Prospect Baptist Church (502 Prospect Church Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
