She was predeceased by: her parents, Astor Lee Owens and Pearlie Morris Owens; her husbands, Lee Burris and Harvey Biggers; and her children, Marlene and Ted Burris.
She is survived by: her children, Mae Allen of Albemarle, Cathy Hartsell of Leland, David Burris of Albemarle and Henry Burris of Concord. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five great- great-grandchildren.
