He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Allen Smith and Juanita McRae Sweeney; and his siblings, David Wayne Smith (Sharon) and Ann Smith Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Mandy Smith; his daughters, Aimee Smith (Darryl Kight) of Winston-Salem, NC and Melissa Smith (Michael Sheehan) of Del Rio, TN; his sisters, Kay Roberts, Jean Warner (Steve) and Kristie Weatherhead (Keith); and his sister-in-law Shannon Mabe (Terry Morgan).
