It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Poplin (Albemarle, North Carolina), who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bryant and Onnie Mae Biles Poplin; and his half-siblings, Marie Huneycutt, Bryce Poplin, Max Poplin, John Poplin and Ray Poplin.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Cathy" Hanna Poplin; his children, Paul Poplin and Tonya Clark; his stepsons, Jimmy Dennis and Terry Dennis; his sisters, Diane Howell (Bob) of Raleigh and Faye Pope of Spring Arbor; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Proffitt, Richard Clark Jr. and Jordan Dennis.
