He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Lee Sr. and Catherine Davenport Watkins; his brothers, Johnny Frank Watkins, Larry Watkins and Michael Louis Watkins; his wife Annie Odessa Harris Watkins; his children, Ursula "Janice" Watkins-Lewis (Josh E.), Robert Lee Watkins III, Kimberly Monika Watkins-Baker (Pastor Eric W.) and Gerald Deon Watkins; his sister Daisy W. of Washington; his siblings-in-law, Clair Watkins, Diane Watkins, Sandra Watkins and Lonnie Gibbs; and also Althea Harris. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
