He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Medley and Jennie Mae Medley (Gould); his brother Claude Medley Jr.; and his sister-in-law Victoria. He is survived by: his wife Lula Medley (Medley); his children, Baker H. Mclendon Jr., Robert Medley Jr., Devin Covington (Mclendon) and Cybill Drake (Hall); his grandchildren, Baker Hudson Mclendon III, Keith Lauchon Jackson, Christian Mclendon, Kaylah Allen, Daquan Mclendon, Fabian Workman, Yasmen Drake, Alicia Drake and Niya Workman; his siblings, James Medley (Joanne), Evangelist Josephine M. Wall (Kenneth Wall) and Deacon Paul E. Medley; his aunt Ruth Caple; and his uncle Ruben Gould.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Victory Temple (713 Glendale Ave, Albemarle, NC 28001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Oliver Grove Church Cemetery (232 Davis Haywood Rd, Mt Gilead, NC 27306).
