She is survived by: her husband Billy Ray Powell of Statesville, NC; her sons, Preston Troutman of Statesville, NC and Charlie Powell (Emily) of Mebane, NC; her grandchildren, C. J., Easton and William Powell; her sisters, Gail Garner (Bobby) of Albemarle, NC, June Lowder of Albemarle, NC and Debbie Bachofen (Max) of Raleigh, NC; and her close friend Helen Hawkins of Charlotte, NC.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
