He is survived by: his stepdaughter Ellie Washburn Smith (Chadwick Lee Smith) of Oakboro; his stepdaughter-in-law Chassity Speight Washburn; his siblings, Jimmy Bunn of Edenton, Larry Bunn of Charlotte and Gloria Squires of Mount Pleasant, SC; and his grandchildren, Zach Washburn, Dawson Smith, Hannah Washburn, Carson Smith and Mylee Smith.
