She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Curtis Staton and Margaret Hutchins Staton; her husband Richard Rayvon Laton; her children, Rick Laton (Julie) of Norwood and Ami Perry (Jeff) of Tampa, FL; her sister Annette Redwine of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Hailey Smith (Luke), Ryan Laton (Celeste), Caroline Perry, Jake Perry, Katie Perry, Nick Perry and Natalie Perry; and her great grandchild Branson Forrest.
