She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby McRae Poplin and Frances Harvey Mason; and her siblings, Freddie Wayne Huneycutt and Stephanie Turnmire. She is survived by: her husband Steven Anthony Scheller; her children, Joe Simmons (Amanda), Lonnie Britt III, Autumn Dominique Thompson (Joe), Sara Scheller and Stephanie Scheller; and her siblings, Bobby Harvey, Jimmy Pierce (Christine), Laurie Sides (Barry) and Sandra Thompson (Mark). She is also survived by six grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Victory Tabernacle Pentecostal Church (1313 Bird Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
