He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clyde Huneycutt and Ollie Huneycutt; his wife Patricia Kay Huneycutt; and his brothers, Claude, Garrett and Melvin Huneycutt.

He is survived by: his son Roger Dwayne Huneycutt (Beth) of Albemarle; and his siblings, Novella Turner and Artis Huneycutt.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly & Uwharrie.
