She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shelley Johnson and Lottie Springer Johnson; her husband Wayne Lowell Blalock; and her grandson Justin Burleson. She is survived by: her children, Valerie Blalock Putnam (David) of Norwood and Jimmy Blalock (Susan) of Albemarle; her sisters, Geraldine Corriher, Myrtle Stone and Jane Burris; her brother-in-law Kenneth Burris; her grandchildren, Kris Burleson, Kresta Pedicino, Meredith Blalock, David Blalock and Nick Putnam; and her stepgrandson Jason Putnam. She is also survived by eight great-grandchild and one great-great-granddaughter.
