It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Kay Mitchell of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Ethan Burris and Laura Mae Burris; her husband Bobby Blake Jr. (Walter Mitchell); and her brother Richard Burris. She is survived by: her children, Mark Butler (Miranda), Keyoka Blake, Brandon Mitchell and Bailey Mitchell; her stepsons, Greg Blake (Rebecca) and Jeremy Blake (Pam); her brothers, Aaron Burris, Gary Burris (Shelby), Nelson Burris (Patti) and Bryan Burris (Reba); her grandchildren, Cody Funderburk (Grayson) and Courtlyn Butler; her boyfriend Tim Ingold; and her caregiver Libby Miller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
