She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Odell Sides and Trula Almond Sides; her husband Dennie A. Sasser Jr.; her children, Mark Sasser, Matthew Sasser (Cynthia), Lisa Rena Sasser and Johnnie Adele Sasser; and her siblings, Jerry Sides, Connie Murphy and Darnell Parrish.
She is survived by: her son Mike Sasser (Cindy) of New London; her sister Marjorie Ann Horton; her grandchildren, Kristen Chance, Elizabeth Shaver (Matt), Erica Thompson (Justin), Jacquelyn Paul (Prasenjit), Allison Wensil (Jesse), Lisa Goodman and Madilyn Sasser; her great grandchildren, Karsyn Chance, Jackson Shaver, Isabella Shaver, Caroline Shaver, Jameson Shaver, Elin Thompson, Jase Thompson, Joel Matthew Thompson, Grayson Paul, Lily Paul, Lane Wensil, Luke Wensil, Lyle Wensil and Dennie Goodman; and her aunt Faye Hatley.
