She was predeceased by: her parents, James Howard Deal and Stella Pennell Deal; and her brother Kenneth Deal. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Aaron Brooks; her children, Susan Helms (Mike) of Albemarle, Aaron Anthony Brooks of Albemarle and Crystal Hankins (Tom) of Candor; and her grandchildren, Lexi Marie Fillers, Holden Hunter Brooks, Macy Kendall Brooks and A. J. Helms.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church (569 Liberty Hill Church Rd, Mt Gilead, NC 27306). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (569 Liberty Hill Church Rd, Mt Gilead, NC 27306).
