It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jane Adkins of Albemarle, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cleavy Hatley and Mary Frances Smith Hatley; her husband Lewis Wade Adkins; and her siblings, Clay Hatley and Judy Russell.
She is survived by: her son Michael Mauney of Florida; and her sister Carolyn Hatley of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
