Though Minnie Pearl may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Travis and Sadie Huneycutt Sides. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Barbee; her son Jimmy Barbee, Jr.; her granddaughter Tiffany Burris; and her nieces and nephews, Rita Wood, Brenda Callicutt, Cindy Ward, Zeena UpChurch, Dennis Green and Debbie Whitley. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (2411 US-52, Albemarle, NC 28001).
