He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watkins and Jessie Watkins; his brothers, Steve and Jimmy Watkins; and his daughter Lydia Watkins Bundgard.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Moses-Watkins; his stepdaughter Alyssia; his children, Inez Lowery (Rick), Kamisha Wall Steele, Shantina Allen Benjamin (James), Donna Allen, Cassandra Little, Anthony Allen (Zada), Kashunda Gainey and James Watkins; his grandchildren, Kendra, Xavier, Patrice, Shaquilla, Whitney, James, Justin, Michael, Courtney, Anajha, Henry, Jacob, Olivia and Chauncey; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Lauriana and Makkhi.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting monetary donations to distribute to organizations that aided in Mr. Watkins' healthcare.
