He is survived by: his wife Claudine Bassinger Hinson; his son Richard Hinson (Shelia) of Albemarle; his daughter-in-law Robin Hinson of Albemarle; his grandchildren, Ginny Seedhom (Rani) and Parker Hinson (MaKayla); and his great grandchild Alette Seedhom.
