She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilford Furr (Furr) and Marion Elizabeth "Libby" Luther Furr; and her husband Hugh David Whitley. She is survived by: her sons, Jason E. Whitley (Linda) of Albemarle and Chris D. Whitley (Chastidy) of Albemarle; her grandchildren, Taylor Morris (Corey), Austin Whitley, Morgan Whitley (Jacob Garey) and Kendal Whitley; her great grandchildren, Zane, Zander and Langston; and her brother Eric Furr (Cindy).
