She is survived by: her son Ronnie Hardister of Albemarle; her sister-in-law Pat Almond of New London, NC; her nephews, Darnell Almond (Stefanie) and Jeremy Almond (Bonnie); her great-nieces, Sarah Almond, Brook Welker (Seth) and Jaicee Tucker (Brevan); and her great-nephew Jerry Wayne Almond.
