He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Myers and Evelyn Catherine Howell Myers; and his wife Sharon Myers. He is survived by: his children, Scotty Myers (Karen), Sharon Efird (Andy) of Albemarle and Susanne Lyle (Mark) of Norwood; his stepchildren, David Meyer of Tennessee, Stephen Meyer of Tennessee and Shirley Soto Meyer of Tennessee; his brother Tim Myers (Wanda) of High Rock, NC; his grandchildren, Joshua Myers, Brandon Myers, Ross Efird, Holli Efird, Ashley Lyle, Hannah Lyle and Brennan Lyle; and his great grandchildren, Dakota Efird and Tyler Furr.
