He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Green, Sr. and Elise Kimbrell Green; his wife Mary Louise Young Green; his children, Alfredo Nance, Gilbert Jerod Green and Yvonne Kirk; and his sister Ruth Willoughby.
He is survived by: his children, Leroy and Phyllis Floyd (Nathaniel); his daughter-in-law Adrius D. Green; his sister Dorothy Abbot; and his cousin Daniel Quick. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
