He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rothmeyer and Agnes Margaret Brecker Rothmeyer; and his wife Marcia Anderson Rothmeyer. He is survived by: his children, Alicia Rothmeyer, Dustin Rothmeyer (Sharon) of New London and Bryan Rothmeyer (Stacey); his grandchildren, Amanda Knox, Michael Boyle, Chris, Emma and Zoey Rothmeyer; and his great grandchildren, Emery, Corbin, Weston, Alayna, Asher and Acer.
