He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Ray Holt and Mardesia Sylvia Lucas Holt; his brother Scotty Holt; and his daughter-in-law Rebecca Faulkner Holt of Albemarle. He is survived by: his wife Drinda H. Holt; his children, Timothy Holt (Trish), Angela Smith (Dale) of Albemarle, NC. and Laura Lewis of Albemarle, NC.; his grandchildren, Tiffany Mabry (Ryan), Tabitha King (Mason), Samantha Holt, Anthony Smith and Michael Lewis; his great grandchildren, Skylar King, Colt Smith and Norah Smith; his sister-in-law Shelia Hall (JR) of Morganton, NC; and his siblings, Ann Holt and Johnny Holt.
