We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2021, at the age of 81, Larry Jenkins of Albemarle, North Carolina, born in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Astor Layfette and Elisabeth Spahr Jenkins; his former wife Doris Glenz Jenkins; his son Stephen Glenz Jenkins; his grandson Jacob Joseph Austin; and his brother Jim Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Jenkins; his children, Laura J. Stevwing (Russ), Paul E. Jenkins (Wendy), Sissy J. Austin (Dale) and Mary J. Story (Ryan); his stepchildren, Mike Banta and Carole Banta; his grandchildren, Garrett, Seth, Parker, Will, Sydney, Vance, Olivia, Eli and Kiley; his great grandchildren, Bayley and Micah; his siblings, Alvin Jenkins (Marjorie) and Sylvia Harlow; and his sister-in-law Barbara Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly c/o Speed the Light Youth Missions.
