She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Efird and Annie Efird; her husband Larry Brady Kimrey; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Sue Efird, Claudine Simpson, Marlene Harris, Shirlene Efird, Billy Efird, Carl Efird and Jerry Efird.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Poplin (Kenneth) of New London, Debbie Holt (Michael) of Albemarle and Larry Brady Kimrey II (Sherry) of Biscoe; her grandchildren, Shannon Hamric, Holly Poplin, William Poplin, Laura Carriker, Phillip Holt (Rachel) and Bradley Holt (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Maggie, Riley, Logan, Cameron, Liam, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Kielyn, Elijah, Kira, Gracelynn and Owen; and her sisters, Patricia Harris (Terry) and Peggy Harris (Donnie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Kimrey family.
